ELTEK S.P.A. was founded in 1979 by Mr Luigi Sassone, at the time Manager of important company groups.
In 1995, with the objective of a vertical production process, the Company acquired the majority stake of a mould construction company, also structured to mould plastic parts. This being Eltek Plast S.p.A. located in Hone, Valle d'Aosta (Italy).
In 2001, responding to the market trends, ELTEK S.p.A. - the holding company of the Group - concludes the Brazilian project by taking part in the creation of a new company, ELTEK Brasil Ltda., in the State of San Paolo. This firm is destined to become the production site for customers in the American continent.
In 2004 the internationalization process continues with the establishment of Eltek Poland S.p.zo.o, located in Bielsko Biala (Poland).
This Company is specialized in the sector of gas safety valves.
In 2005 Eltek Plast S.p.A. is merged with Eltek S.p.A.
The Eltek Group can now be considered as such

even from the Company structure point of view.
The growth goes on: in 2006 Eltek Electromechanical Products Co.Ltd, located in Yantai (China), is established.
This firm will be dedicated to the production of components for the automotive and household appliances sectors.
With the aim of developing the competences in the electronic sector, again, in 2006 Eltek acquires Metallux SA, a Swiss company specialized in the field of hybrid circuits, sensors and electric motor controls.
Thanks to the experience acquired in the production and design of components destined to electrical household appliance and automotive applications, in the production of moulds and moulding of plastic materials, and in the electronic sector. each single company of the Group can offer a complete and capillary service to the customer by combining the market's immediate demands with the capability of handling projects from the initial R&D stage up to mass production.
